Library, Thursday
Yes, Evan knew that there still weren't any classes this week. Evan was also really pretty ready to get back to classes, and knowing that there would be new students -and a new librarian- here the day after tomorrow had him pretty excited for the coming semester. And that was why he'd stopped by for his usual shift today, to make certain that everything was in order for the start of the spring semester and any new kids that might want to wander through, and to make the transition into working in this particular library as smooth as possible for the new librarian.
Mostly, since the island had been so quiet over the break, this meant watching the books in the children's section play leapfrog over one another, just to be sure they didn't wander too far away for him to put back on the shelf before the end of his shift.

Re: Talk to Evan
He wasn't always the best at guessing games.

Re: Talk to Evan
All book-like and such.
"But my question did not revolve around books." She shrugged slightly, looking amused. "All I had to do was wonder where I might find Evan on a Thursday and the question formed just like that. 'Would he be in the library?' which while likely, still had the chance of being wrong."
Seeing as school was out and all.
Re: Talk to Evan
He tilted his head for a moment, thinking.
"I guess I could make a snowman or something. But the books are pretty interesting all on their own, even when they aren't playing games."
Re: Talk to Evan
It had been, so Yeul felt like that counted as a victory of some sort.
"Have the books been playing all day?"
Re: Talk to Evan
Free was a much more affordable price for a kid whose part-time job involved giving pep-talks to self-help books.
