Emergency Student Council Meeting [Friday, Lunchtime]

Early this morning, Minerva had had an embarrassing revelation - and not that her office was filled with strange objects that clearly had no place being in a school - and had gone straight to the PA system to handwavily call for a student council meeting.

(Funny how some things about schools didn't actually change much over time.)

She gave everyone some time to arrive after the bell rang - not that anyone would be late, of course - and then stepped up to the front of the room. "Good afternoon!" she said in a clear American accent. "I don't know what's wrong with me, and I apologize to all of you. I can't believe we've made it to Friday without planning what kind of school party we want to have tomorrow! We don't have time to put together a festival, and it's too cold for a beach party, and we still don't have that roller rink--oh! Maybe we should have a sock hop!" Oh yes, a good, wholesome dance would be just the thing to bring everyone together. "Do you all agree? Who would like to help?"

[OCD is up, have at it! Since Minerva sent the call out over the PA, the meeting is open to all the students, and teachers if they want to come by too!]

Bucky raised a paw. "I don't understand," he commented. "Are we supposed to hop on the socks, or hop while wearing socks?"

"Do we need people-sized socks?" Rilla followed up, playing with her pretty, pretty blue necklace.

"I...don't think so?" Minerva said. "It's a dance! In your socks! Because shoes might hurt."
