Library, [2/13]

The Library's open, and this morning, there are chocolates for the aides. Nobody else, though, so shoo!

[for all your library needs; but Parker leaves at 2pmEST]

Fraser smiles at her excitement of wearing his hat. And, when she snaps a picture, he laughs quietly.

"Noteworthy? Aside from two partners who became my friends, I don't believe I did. I brought Dief with me, of course, and that's all." He shrugs. "I wasn't there for very long."

"Okay. And, um, final questions - what's your favorite color, favorite food, and if you could get turned into an animal, what animal would you choose?" Rory asked, making up questions at random.

"My favorite color is red. My favorite food seems to alternate between steak and any form of pasta. As for the animal, I'd probably choose a wolf so that I may experience all that Diefenbaker does on a daily basis. It might help to figure out why he tends to ignore me."

"Maybe it's a dog thing. Or canine thing, anyway," Rory suggested. "My puppy just made an imaginary friend, apparently."

She shrugged. "That's it. Thanks so much for your time. Oh, and for letting me wear your hat," she added, taking said item off her head and handing it back.

[No worries, omg!]

Fraser takes his hat back and places it on his head.

"An imaginary friend? And here I thought I'd heard everything at this school thus far," Fraser says. "And you're very welcome. I hope I didn't bore you too much."

"You didn't. And Vladdie - my puppy, Vladdie - seems to find the air fascinating these days," Rory said, shaking her head. "So I'm thinking imaginary friend."

"Very interesting," Fraser remarks. "I do hope his imaginary friend is a good one. Diefenbaker tends to stare at the air but I believe he does that when he's bored with me."

"Well, and Vladdie's also six weeks old. At least, physically he is," Rory said. "So it might be a baby thing."

"Very true," Fraser agrees. "Does Vladdie ever accompany you to the library?"

Re: Third period

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
"No, but he should," Rory said, eyes lighting up.

Re: Third period

[identity profile] just-add-starch.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
"If he were to be in the library during the day, I might be able to bring Diefenbaker by so they could meet each other," Fraser says. "He's very good with other dogs."

Re: Third period

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
"I wonder if Diefenbaker would be able to see Vladdie's friend, since I guess Sean could," Rory mused.

"I'll have to ask him tonight," Fraser says, nodding. "Whether he'll answer me or not is the big question."

Re: Third period

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Rory blinked. "Does he talk?"

Re: Third period

[identity profile] just-add-starch.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
"He can read lips," Fraser tells her, "so I figure he must understand me. He hasn't answered yet."

Re: Third period

"I wonder if he'd talk to Vladdie," Rory wondered.

Re: Third period

[identity profile] just-add-starch.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
"That's a very good question," Fraser says, rubbing his chin. "He doesn't like talking to me but another dog might gain his interest."

Re: Third period

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
"Well, Vladdie is wee. And energetic. And he flies," Rory pointed out. "I don't know if that might irritate him."

Re: Third period

[identity profile] just-add-starch.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
"He flies?" Fraser laughs again. "That's quite an amazing dog, Miss Gilmore. As for irritating Deifenbaker, he'll get over it. He needs to acclimate himself to his new enivornment."

Re: Third period

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
"Vladdie's a vampire. Forgot to mention that," Rory added. "Hence the flying. But he doesn't bite."

A vampire canine? Fraser knows he's getting used to Fandom when this doesn't surprise him too much.

"Well, knowing that fact, I think it will make Diefenbaker even more eager to meet Vladdie. He seems to gravitate towards unique dogs."

Re: Third period

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
"Vladdie only has two other doggie friends here, and one of them is a robot," Rory nodded. "So it'd be good for him."

Re: Third period

"It will be good for Diefenbaker as well," Fraser agrees. "I look forward to it."
