The Library's open, and this morning, there are chocolates for the aides. Nobody else, though, so shoo!

Fraser takes his hat back and places it on his head.

"An imaginary friend? And here I thought I'd heard everything at this school thus far," Fraser says. "And you're very welcome. I hope I didn't bore you too much."

"You didn't. And Vladdie - my puppy, Vladdie - seems to find the air fascinating these days," Rory said, shaking her head. "So I'm thinking imaginary friend."

"Very interesting," Fraser remarks. "I do hope his imaginary friend is a good one. Diefenbaker tends to stare at the air but I believe he does that when he's bored with me."

"Well, and Vladdie's also six weeks old. At least, physically he is," Rory said. "So it might be a baby thing."

"Very true," Fraser agrees. "Does Vladdie ever accompany you to the library?"

"No, but he should," Rory said, eyes lighting up.

"If he were to be in the library during the day, I might be able to bring Diefenbaker by so they could meet each other," Fraser says. "He's very good with other dogs."

"I wonder if Diefenbaker would be able to see Vladdie's friend, since I guess Sean could," Rory mused.

"I'll have to ask him tonight," Fraser says, nodding. "Whether he'll answer me or not is the big question."

Rory blinked. "Does he talk?"

"He can read lips," Fraser tells her, "so I figure he must understand me. He hasn't answered yet."

"I wonder if he'd talk to Vladdie," Rory wondered.

"That's a very good question," Fraser says, rubbing his chin. "He doesn't like talking to me but another dog might gain his interest."

"Well, Vladdie is wee. And energetic. And he flies," Rory pointed out. "I don't know if that might irritate him."

"He flies?" Fraser laughs again. "That's quite an amazing dog, Miss Gilmore. As for irritating Deifenbaker, he'll get over it. He needs to acclimate himself to his new enivornment."

"Vladdie's a vampire. Forgot to mention that," Rory added. "Hence the flying. But he doesn't bite."

A vampire canine? Fraser knows he's getting used to Fandom when this doesn't surprise him too much.

"Well, knowing that fact, I think it will make Diefenbaker even more eager to meet Vladdie. He seems to gravitate towards unique dogs."

"Vladdie only has two other doggie friends here, and one of them is a robot," Rory nodded. "So it'd be good for him."

"It will be good for Diefenbaker as well," Fraser agrees. "I look forward to it."
