School Announcements, 2/13/06
Today, the announcements occur during the timeframe between second and third periods.
"Hey kiddies, I'd like to thank those who turned out to call me about student directorialness. If Wednesday, Cordelia Chase and Rory Gilmore could come to my office during the lunch hour so we can discuss stuff, that'd be great. I'll even have pizza and sodie-pop for you two. So, lemme know if either of you have, like, food allergies or don't eat meat or something.
Also, I have some baddish new on the show front. Apparently, like, the Pirates and Ninjas of Penzance was vetoed by the school board. Apparently we'd be enforcing negative stereotypes about buccaneers and stealthy assassins. Who knew?
So, as much as I'm a fan of the music, I was handed a script over the weekend that I think will make us all very happy. Billy Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. So, huzzah and all that other ye olde Englishy type stuff.
But on the music front, some of you students need to stage an intervention on the music tastes of Martin Blank. Seriously. Possibly even throw copies of Pink Floyd's The Wall at him. I recieved a very disturbing e-mail from him.
And... that is all for today. Hope you all have a good day and stuff. Today's announcements were brought to you by Morris Day and the Time. Jungle Love, Oh-wee-Oh-wee-Oh."
