The Danger Room is set up to look like an ordinary classroom today, with slightly squeaky desks arranged in a semicircle, alphabets of many nations bordering the walls, and a flag hanging above the blackboard at the front of the room. The air smells, although not unpleasantly, of chalkdust and stale cafeteria food. In a room off to the side that resembles a formal Victorian dining room, there are a table, chairs and a sideboard from which students will take their lunch, though no food is visible at first.

The names of the students with detention are written on the chalkboard in Dream's flowing hand. He crosses each name off as the student enters:

Dream stands before the assembled students in his formal robes.

"Hello. I trust you all know why you are here.

I have been asked to furnish activities, and have done so. Likewise your lunch will be provided. Should all go well, I anticipate releasing you well in time for your evening meal. Should all not go well, you may learn what imprisonment truly is."

"Now, sign in and begin your assigned activities."

At 12:30 p.m. FHT, Dream briefly enters the lunchroom. When he leaves, a banquet has been arranged. Students may now eat, should they want to.

At 7 p.m. FHT, he rouses the sleepers and sends all of the students out the door.

[OOC note: Dream-mun has left the building for the night. I'll try to wrap these threads tomorrow. Also, minimal/handwaved participation on some activities is fine for those of you who might sign in late.]

"Maybe she'll turn you into a Disney creature," said Janet. "You could be a talking teapot."

John's eye widen in horror.

"If that happens, I am throwing your medical kit bag thing out the window."

"You wouldn't," said Janet. "Besides, I keep it locked up when I'm not using it now."

"No Disney creatures," John says, shaking his head. "Next week, I'm sure she'll put her creativeness to wrok and turn me into something that is not a Disney animal."

Janet grinned. "No Disney creatures at all? What about the black dragon at the end of Sleeping Beauty?" Who was Maleficent, and therefore a girl, but Janet wasn't going to mention that.

"No Disney creatures," John says, making a cutting gesture. "It's bad enough that she gets along with Aeryn, I do not wanna be an animated creature to boot."

"She gets along with Aeryn?" asked Janet. "And fine, no Disney creatures. But small and fluffy. So you've been a marmoset, a miniature elephant, and a meerkat, right? Maybe she'll turn you into a gosling next?"

"Apparently," John says. "Aeryn went to make sure the transformations wouldn't have permanent damage and they got along. And maybe I'll go one class without being turned into any kind of animal."

"It could happen," said Janet. "But probably only if you behave, which I have to say, isn't as much fun." She paused, and glanced at Professor Dream. "Um. But acting up in class would be wrong."

Dream smiled, briefly. "It would depend on the class, Miss Frasier. But trying to annoy your classics professor would not be a wise move."

Janet laughed. "I've gotten that idea," she said. "But I actually like you."

Dream merely smiles at this, and does not respond.

His teeth are very white, even against his pale skin.

Janet started wondering a bit more about her professor. She'd ignored his oddness, since there'd been so much of it at this school, but maybe she'd find something interesting if she did some research in the library?
