Driver's Ed, Feb 8th (8th period)

Dinosaur-shaped cookies sit on the table next to the sign-in sheet, as well as a pitcher of milk and some glasses (because cookies need to be dunked!).

"I hope you all... enjoyed... the video last week," Tommy says. "Today? I want you guys to talk about what sort of prior experience you have with vehicles. They don't have to be cars. Giant robots, starfighters, boats ships... talk about them and if you think any of your experiences will translate well to automobiles."

Ivanova crutches yes, it's a verb, shh over to seat and settles herself down before responding. "I've, um, piloted a Starfury - that's a light, short-range fighter - and a White Star, a larger heavy cruiser. Not so much experience with land vehicles. But I did ride a motorcycle once. Someone else was driving, though."

"I drove a car once, its the same principle except that the steering wheel is on the wrong side for me." He paused. "I've seen custom made cars that are armored and use screens to simulate the same view you would have if there were windows." He shrugged a bit. "Nothing special. The tank doesn't count as a car, so no comparisons on that."

"Um, I've kind of driven a car before? Sorta. It ended up a bit scratched up and my dad was grasping the steering wheel the entire time. Also, bumper cars."
