Umbridge High School Building, Saturday Evening

There were some clouds hanging around the spires of Umbridge High School, but not enough; there was an overlaying sense that there shouldn't be as much sunlight shining down on it as there was.

It was quiet. Kind of. There was tension in the air, a wound-up strung-up thing that ensnared the school. Somehow it seemed as if even the birds didn't want to touch down on the building itself, and the gates seemed to fold into themselves, even if they weren't quite shut.

And all that on a weekend, too.

"Specifically number 327," Frank chimed in helpfully, flashing Momoko a charming smile. "Apparently some students have reported being grabbed by things that live inside it, so naturally we're going to need to verify that information."

Momoko sighed. Really, a J,GOB receipt? This was the Resistance now?

"Lockers were inspected last month, painted last week, and you don't work for the school or I'd have your name and photograph on file. You really should wash your face you know?" She reached over and held out a packet of towelettes from the desk she was raiding.

"And Mr Abignale, disappearances such as that can be filed with the security office on Monday! You all should be at home, right now!"

Momoko blinked. Not at the talking bird, but at what it said. "Oh. Why didn't you just say so?" Hmmm. "The scroll... Good idea."

She stepped to her desk and grabbed a post-it note (http://www.thestationerystudio.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/catalog.viewProduct/productID/30647/catId/2294/Kitty%20Sticky%20Note%20Cube.html) and a pen. "42-36-40. Be careful. If you have trouble, come back and get me."

She ripped the post-it note off the pad and held it out. To the bird.

Frank... also blinked, because really, that was way too easy for an accomplished bullshitter like himself. "Gosh," he said, blinking down at the post-it. "Thanks so much, ma'am! We'll let you know how it goes!"

Momoko nodded as they left, still concerned about them, but she had things to burn. She looked over at the next desk. OH! the sample uniforms (http://wedding-pictures-03.onewed.com/17482/country-club-wedding-venue-grooms-attire-pink-suit-coat-linen-khaki-pants__full.jpg) for next term! Priestly... Resistance Priestly, the one she met and fell for so long ago, he'd totally agree with her: "Those have to go."
