Detention, Depths of the Castle, Friday

So, one of the important things to realize about detention was that the monotony of everyone's daily lives was part of the punishment. That meant that even though someone had died yesterday, the day's schedule didn't change a bit.

After all, most of your little lives just weren't that important in the grand scheme of things.

It hadn't gotten him out of here, mind. And hadn't saved any one of the number of people who had been killed down here over the years. But, hey. No pissing. That was... something.

Go figure, he slips out of his self-imposed catatonia just so that he could talk bodily functions.
