Library, Saturday [6/9]

Cassidy was in a thoughtful mood as she went about her duties in the library.

She had been thinking a lot about the conversation with Ender last week and then about his class. He was right in that she needed to approach her studying from a different mindset. She needed to be able to identify her strengths as well as her weaknesses and then tailor things to that knowledge. (And ask Ender for suggestions.)

That would be why she was examining each book before she shelved them -- just in case it was something that she could learn from.

Ender came in with a bag of leftover cookies - there was almost always a surplus of some kind of food item in their room - which he dropped on the counter. "Morning," he greeted.

Cassidy smiled as she shelved a book and came over to the counter.

"Good morning, Ender," she said cheerfully. "How are you?"

"Well enough," Ender said, with a brief smile. He pushed the cookies forward. "I thought I'd rescue some of these for you before Ben eats them all."

Now she grinned. "I will never turn down cookies. Thank you -- and please thank Ben for me. How has your week been?"

"Quiet," Ender admitted. "I can't say I've got any reason to complain about that. How about you?"

She nodded. "Quiet for me, as well. I've been catching up on reading and spending time in the garden, too."

The Librarian! (When he pings in)

Have errands to run and studying to do, but I will tag as much as I can this afternoon and evening.

I discovered last week that all studying and no breaks invites headaches and have no desire to repeat that.
