Rory toddled sleepily into the library after ACJ, and took her usual position behind the desk.

Library's open. It has books. Go read or something.

Angela noticed the crossed fingers and gave Rory a skeptical look. "It would be. Plus, I've never had a bg romantic Valentine's Day thing. Have you?"

Rory shook her head. "Not really. I mean, Jess wasn't the type for that kind of thing, and Dean and I did kind of a low-key thing because it was never shown on-screen, as my player recalls. I don't know if I'd want to do anything big, you know? I mean, I'd rather it be kind of personal and sweet, rather than some big thing."

"That happened to my mom once, actually. Like, almost that exact thing," Rory said in recognition. "When she got proposed to. Not by Luke."

"She didn't," Rory said, shaking her head. "Luke's her first husband. But a couple years ago, she was involved with one of my teachers and they almost got married."
