"Professor Ted's not here today, guys. He left me and Bridge in charge of the class. I would say fear but I'm a nice guy. I really am. Anyway, today's topic is The Uncharted Territories. What's an uncharted territory, you may ask? Exactly what it sounds like, dudes. Places, planets, species, stuff we haven't yet discovered. There's a whole universe out there filled with new and cool stuff!"

Discussion: "Let's say you're propelled into some part of space where no one has gone before. Perhaps you got there by a freak solar flare accident or teleportation or just really bad luck. The natives of said space are curious but wary. You have to explain the music of your world to them in fifteen words or less or they take you to their leader and bad things may happen. How would you explain your world's music?"

"Also, if you could, please hand in and present your interview assignments, dudes. Hope you didn't flake or Professor Ted might turn Professor Ninja on you."

Cameron clears his throat before starting to sing. Badly.

"So I say thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing..."

"Dude, singing?" John frowns. "You think that's gonna appease angry space natives? Though, you do have a pretty decent voice."

John Crichton.

"Dude, how else are you going to express music in 15 words? How many different genres do we have on Earth? It's the most straight forward and music is supposed to bring people together..."

Angela is a little nervous as she smooths her notes from her interview with the Librarian.

Callisto signed in.

John turns in (http://themountieman.livejournal.com/1228.html) his assignment. Chiana had left a few nights earlier so he was solo.

And he was about to go solo. He cues up My Heart Will Go On, in honor of the Canadian he interviewed and starts to sing his findings in a very Celine Dion but not nearly as good type voice.

Canada has music
Music that makes touches you
From folk to pop, it will always go on...

Folk music came to Canada!

First Nations music is near, far, whever you are

Drums, rattles, and instruments a plenty

Celine Dion's from Canada and she's makes me scared
But I know that Canada's music will go on
Songs will stay forever this way
Whether written by a solo
Or passed down from family to family!
