There is, of course, junk food at the front of the room. Twinkies, Ho-Ho's, Doritos, Funyons, doughnuts, cinnamon buns, and bananas. Help yourself.

"Professor Ted's not here today, guys. He left me and Bridge in charge of the class. I would say fear but I'm a nice guy. I really am. Anyway, today's topic is The Uncharted Territories. What's an uncharted territory, you may ask? Exactly what it sounds like, dudes. Places, planets, species, stuff we haven't yet discovered. There's a whole universe out there filled with new and cool stuff!"

Discussion: "Let's say you're propelled into some part of space where no one has gone before. Perhaps you got there by a freak solar flare accident or teleportation or just really bad luck. The natives of said space are curious but wary. You have to explain the music of your world to them in fifteen words or less or they take you to their leader and bad things may happen. How would you explain your world's music?"

"Also, if you could, please hand in and present your interview assignments, dudes. Hope you didn't flake or Professor Ted might turn Professor Ninja on you."

Cameron clears his throat before starting to sing. Badly.

"So I say thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing..."

"Dude, how else are you going to express music in 15 words? How many different genres do we have on Earth? It's the most straight forward and music is supposed to bring people together..."

"Music of this planet is...Hey, what's that over there?" Callisto pointed melodramtically. "Look, a DISTRACTION!"

Angeal grinned. "I like that idea," she said. "I mean, the risk is that they'd see right through it and kill you anyhow. But it would be totally worth a shot."

Boone shrugs, "Our music will lend you happiness, vibrance and glee!"

Sam unfortunately went to Julliard and despite his effort to act like Marty gives a fifteen minute description of the different types of music from all over the world.

Bridge may have headdesked just a little while Sam went off on his tangent.

When Sam finally stopped talking he saw the expression on Bridge's face. "Um. Too much?"

Angela squints at him. "Wait, so you know music that isn't Elvis Costello or bad old pop songs? No offense, but this is news."

"Uh... well. I *have* been to other countries when I was still a... you know. Doesn't it make sense that I picked up a few things?" Sam said trying to think on his feet.

"Well, not really, but I understand it's a big thing in this time? The show sort of died because the legal department couldn't figure out whether non-humans living in the US were considered 'Americans'. Of course, that's all resolved *now, but by the time they figured it out, the public's interest had already moved on to the next fad."

*Wait, that wasn't a Twinkie*

*GRAB TWINKIE!*

*Repeat x10*

"Our music tells us to be excellent to each other and to party on," Pip said. Totally not trying to suck up to the teacher.
