Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

Some extra tables had been set up in the shade of the trees on the lawn, away from the buffet in spots where it might be less crowded and much quieter. Well, aside from the mariachi band, but at least their music was entertaining? They might even take requests!

Saying she was in a class called 'Kicking Ass' did not feel right at all.

Sia had probably never said 'astral' in her life.

"I will remember that. I have to admit, I am looking forward to seeing what I can learn from it," she said. Even if she was probably a bit more advanced than most students on the subject.

Well, it was horribly dated slang in her time. "I took his course on tactics the last semester," Ben said. "He's really smart."

"He teaches tactics," she said, approving of this. "Coming here might not have been the worst thing after all."

"I really have no idea what classes students take when they aren't interested in strategy, self-defense, or running a galaxy," Ben admitted.

"Which I suppose helps some of us rather than others..." It was fine for her, since she was one that it helped.

And now he wasn't really planning to go home again, so. Maybe not the best example.
