Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

Some extra tables had been set up in the shade of the trees on the lawn, away from the buffet in spots where it might be less crowded and much quieter. Well, aside from the mariachi band, but at least their music was entertaining? They might even take requests!

Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here and there's more room for mingling here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"Aren't you hungry?" Rapunzel looked slightly concerned, but mostly curious as she approached Anna. She had her own plate of lots of tasty things just in case anyone was too shy to get their own or something.

"Oh, no," Anna said quickly. "I'm fine."

"Oh." Rapunzel took a moment to absorb that, then shrugged. "Okay." She glanced down at her plate and smiled ruefully. "I guess I'll have to try to eat all of this by myself, then..."

"I'm sure there's someone else you could share with," Anna suggested. "Or you could try to do it." It did look tasty. Woe, ghostliness.

"I could," Rapunzel giggled, "but I'd probably regret it..." She grinned. "But that'd be later..."

"I think you should go for it," Anna said. After all, you only lived once.

Rapunzel grabbed a cookie and stuffed the whole thing in her mouth at once. Which mostly made her look ridiculous as her eyes kind of bugged out and she chewed in a kind of almost-panic so that she wouldn't choke on it.

Then she giggled again. "Hmm... maybe that's not the best way to do this..."

"Maybe slower," Anna suggested. "Or smaller bites?"

"That sounds like a good plan," Rapunzel agreed thoughtfully.

She took a much more reasonable bite of her next cookie, then looked over at Anna with a hint of worry in her eyes. "You'll let me know if you change your mind, right?" About wanting some.

"Of course I would!" Anna assured her. But it wasn't going to happen. "But I'm really not hungry."

"Okay, then." Rapunzel had no reason to doubt Anna, so she turned her attention back to her cookie with a grin.

Oh!

"Oh! I'm Rapunzel!" Whoops?

"I'm Anna," Anna said, smiling at her. "Pleased to meet you."

"I think I've seen you around," Rapunzel said, pursing her lips thoughtfully. "I'm not just making that up, am I?"

"No, that's right," Anna said. "I've been here since January. I just don't get out much," she admitted. "But I've seen you around, too." It was hard to miss the hair.

"Awww." Rapunzel thought everyone should get out more! "You seem really nice. It's a shame we haven't officially met before." A real shame.

"It really is," Anna agreed. "You seem nice, too, and I don't have many friends here." Of course, she'd never been the popular girl even when she was alive.

"Well, I don't have all that many," Rapunzel admitted. "So maybe we can help each other with that!" That was a great suggestion, wasn't it?
