Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

Some extra tables had been set up in the shade of the trees on the lawn, away from the buffet in spots where it might be less crowded and much quieter. Well, aside from the mariachi band, but at least their music was entertaining? They might even take requests!

"I'm human, good observation," Atton said. Maybe only a little sarcastic. "Ponies talk on Earth? That's not weird at all."

He should've read up on this planet before he came here. The offer had sounded too good to pass up.

That was okay. Pinkie was immune to sarcasm. "Ponies talk in Equestria! We're called Earth ponies 'cause we grow stuff and walk on the ground, not do magic or fly like unicorns or pegasuseseses. I don't know if ponies talk here, but everybody seems so surprised when I do, so I guess probably they don't. At least, not to humans. Which seems kinda rude, but what can you do?"

What Atton took from that was that apparently somewhere there were Force-sensitive pink ponies wandering around, and that made his head hurt.

"Maybe someone just needs to buy a pony a juma juice, get the whole conversation rolling," he said.

Hey. He was nothing if not someone who could roll with the punches.

"Now there's something that'll make me feel right at home," Atton deadpanned. "Ponies. Does that mean you'd be bringing the juma in in buckets? Because I could get behind that."

Pinkie blinked at that one. "Noooo, this is a party, not a war." Maybe they did it differently where he was from. "Buffalo are like ponies only they have big horns like cows!"
