Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2012, Early Saturday Evening (Part 1)

With things back to normal - or as normal as Fandom ever got - preparations for graduation had gone into full swing. The ceremony was set for right after sunset, to make sure all types of guests could safely attend, and the lawn had been lit up with blue and gold lights, creating safe paths in which to walk to the seating area and giving everything a twinkling, serene appearance.

Of course, the staff knew that graduation was rarely a serene event, and the fact that Ingvar's volcano was being unusually active emphasized the need to prepare the seniors as much as possible. Last year's cache of weapons had been discreetly stashed in a trunk behind the podium...and yes, they'd all been properly cleaned. Who knew what dried Viking blood could do to metal?

Once everything had been arranged, the guests were let in, and all that was left was to pray everything went smoothly.

"They weren't supposed to go that far into the air," said WileyKit, trying to look innocent.

"You know, Sis, I think that batch was a dud. We'll have to warn Panthro when we get back," said WileyKat, playing along.

Momoko totally didn't believe you this time WileyKit. "How about I tell Mister Panthro ALL about it instead?" She whipped out her phone... that didn't have Pathro's number in it at all.

Evil? Totally. But again, she had a sister that was eerily similar to these two...

"I'm totally sure he would want to know that there was trouble. Maybe he'll need you two to go home immediately to check them."

The twins took the bait and looked very worried.

"Please don't tell Panthro!" said WileyKat.

"He'll have us scrubbing the Thundertank from top to bottom, and we just finished cleaning it from last time!" added WileyKit.

... "You have a tank?" She may have grumbled something about BFFs totally owing her...

Momoko hesitated a moment, holding her hand over the phone as if to press a button. "Promise you'll tell me about any tricks before you use them?"

[AUGH! Thought I posted this already! Sorry!]

"Panthro has a tank. He's so attached to it, though. Tygra's the only other person who ever gets to drive it," grumbled WikeyKat. Of course, he was still too short to reach the pedals.

"No more tricks. We just wanted to do something special to celebrate Lion-o's graduation," promised WileyKit. "He was so upset that Snarf and the others couldn't be here."

[No worries! It's one of those days when the pings just don't stop!]

"I'd totally be attached to it, if I had a tank!" Momoko replied to WileyKat as she gave WileyKit a Meaningful Look and put her phone away. "Lion-o is totally upset about it, especially Mister Snarf. But that's not all he's thinking about. He's also worried about you two, for one thing; lots of things can happen here."
