Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2012, Early Saturday Evening (Part 1)
With things back to normal - or as normal as Fandom ever got - preparations for graduation had gone into full swing. The ceremony was set for right after sunset, to make sure all types of guests could safely attend, and the lawn had been lit up with blue and gold lights, creating safe paths in which to walk to the seating area and giving everything a twinkling, serene appearance.
Of course, the staff knew that graduation was rarely a serene event, and the fact that Ingvar's volcano was being unusually active emphasized the need to prepare the seniors as much as possible. Last year's cache of weapons had been discreetly stashed in a trunk behind the podium...and yes, they'd all been properly cleaned. Who knew what dried Viking blood could do to metal?
Once everything had been arranged, the guests were let in, and all that was left was to pray everything went smoothly.

Re: Welcome!
"So was Lion-o always such a good kid? 'Cause he used to get in trouble back home, but it was usually for not paying attention and stuff," she went on, trying to keep the subject off of fireworks."
Re: Welcome!
"Hmm. He was totally average, I guess? I mean, there were times when he got distracted and stuff, and he was kind of lonely sometimes. But after Thu..." Uhm. "After the summer where he grew, he kind of changed and became more calm. Not all the time, but a lot more."
And no she was not showing them any of the pictures of any of the mischief she and Lion-o may or may not have gotten into that first year. Some of that had never been published and was going to stay that way, so long as she had possession of her phone.
"He still totally doesn't do enough sword practice, though. And when there's no meat on the menu, he totally sulks. What kind of things did he do back home?"
Re: Welcome!
His sister was nodding vigorously on that point.
Re: Welcome!
"What kind of weapons are you trying to learn?"
Re: Welcome!
"And Tygra's bolo whip," added WileyKit.
"And Cheetara's staff, even if it isn't as much fun as the other weapons," said WileyKat.
"Speak for yourself. I like practicing with the staff," countered WileyKit.
