Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2012, Early Saturday Evening (Part 1)

With things back to normal - or as normal as Fandom ever got - preparations for graduation had gone into full swing. The ceremony was set for right after sunset, to make sure all types of guests could safely attend, and the lawn had been lit up with blue and gold lights, creating safe paths in which to walk to the seating area and giving everything a twinkling, serene appearance.

Of course, the staff knew that graduation was rarely a serene event, and the fact that Ingvar's volcano was being unusually active emphasized the need to prepare the seniors as much as possible. Last year's cache of weapons had been discreetly stashed in a trunk behind the podium...and yes, they'd all been properly cleaned. Who knew what dried Viking blood could do to metal?

Once everything had been arranged, the guests were let in, and all that was left was to pray everything went smoothly.

Remembering their initial shuttle ride to school together two years ago, Wesley made sure to clap particularly loudly for Quinn. She'd come a long way, and she was a good friend, and he was proud of her.

Bruce applauded quite a bit for Quinn, but if anyone claimed that he also whistled for her, they were damn liars who couldn't prove it.

Bruce Wayne didn't whistle like that. It's how Alfred raised him.

Judy was probably disturbing a few of the people around her, but she didn't care; Quinn looked amazing and she was very proud.

"She's going to Yale, you know," she informed whoever was sitting in the next seat.

Nathan did a lot of loud screeching and hollering for Quinn because he didn't give a fuck and he was excited.

Bod had to clap for both his friend and procession partner. He knew she'd been eager and he was glad to see her get her diploma.
