"Organic Chemistry", Thursday, period 3

Pinkie had been outfitted with an image inducer for the duration of the school board visit, but the students entering the decidedly normal looking science lab today could be reassured that underneath her (still almost painfully cute) human exterior, she was still the same old Pinkie. As evidenced by the fact that she occasionally caught sight of her hand out of the corner of her eye and burst into muted giggles.

"Welcome back, everyp-er, everyone! Today is your final exam in or-gan-ic chem-is-try. That sounds fun, right?"

"So take your seats, and we'll get right to it." She smiled brightly for the sake of any visitors and started passing out little blue test booklets to the gathered students.

"Wowee," Pinkie said, once she was sure any visitors were reassured she was totally "normal" and had left. "Now that that's overwith, lets get on to what we're really here for!"

What, like you thought Pinkie's class WASN'T going to end with balloons and a cake?

Yeah, so I totally googled "organic chemistry final exam questions" and borrowed a bunch of those. Pinkie does not expect real answers to any other than questions 3 and 5.

Just a heads up: I am going to be on a plane for the vast majority of today, so replies from humanified Pinkie will be slow in coming.

Peter didn't know anything about chemistry, and he didn't care to, either. He circled answers mostly at random, then made something up about the importance of parties when it came to friendship and left it at that.

Hey, he made a living pretending to have particular standpoints. He could bullshit his way through this one.

"Hello, my dear," Thurston said heartily. "I'm Thurston Howell III ~~and I love slowplay~~!"

"Hi!" Pinkie crowed, before she remembered she was supposed to be a serious science teacher. "I do hope you've been very much enjoying you're little visit to our school."

Anna Korlov

Anna circled A for question one because it was the longest, C because you should circle C when you had no clue, and B on question four because it made the least sense. And then she proceeded to answer the other two questions the way she was supposed to.

Topher... did scarily well on this test.

The fact that he was going to end up passing a class in friendship as a result of his mad chemistry skills was kind of hilarious, really.

Hanna had no problem with the third and fifth questions. She chose random answers for the rest because she honestly had no clue what any of it meant.

Richie Ryan

Richie always picked c for multiple choice questions he didn't know the answer to. Occasionally even if c wasn't actually an option. He was even tempted to just choose c for the answer to question c, but he managed to control himself. He didn't manage that for question 5 but he did cross out the c before actually properly ~~by which I mean handwavily~~ answering the question.

"Oh, very much," Thurston said. "We've enjoyed it so much we've decided to move to this lovely island and stay!"

K-Mart

Pinkie's image inducer did an excellent job of not translating the pony frisson of fear that ran through Pinkie into anything in her illusory human exterior. "Oh goody! We love new residents!"

"I think Mrs. Howell and I will be quite happy here once the rabbit infestation dies down," he said. "Spring, you know."

"Oh I know!" Pinkie said, feeling like she was on slightly firmer ground, here. "My friend Fluttershy back home has the worst time rounding up all the bunnies every spring to take a census!"

Because that was totally something humans did, as well as ponies. And Fluttershy was the most normal name ever.

Maybe he'd think she was raised by hippies?

A less oblivious person than Thurston would certain be Drawing Some Conclusions and perhaps wondering if her interest in chemistry was due in part to the wonderful drugs she might manufacture for herself.

"A census?" he asked instead. "However do they manage the paperwork?"

He was under the impression that everyone on the island had a rather bizarre sense of humor.

"Ooo, I don't know! I bet Twilight Sparkle helps. She's really good at that sort of thing."

"Were these friends of yours sorority sisters, by chance?" Thurston wondered.

Lovey's friends had some odd nicknames too.

"Oh no," said Pinkie, who didn't entirely understand the question. "They're my very bestest friends in the whole world. My sisters don't even live in Ponyville."

Oh, oops, she wasn't meant to mention ponies, which probably included the names of towns in Equestria. Ah well, maybe he'd think it was a ranching town.

"Is that out in Colorado?" he guessed. "I own forty acres there."

"Nope," Pinkie said cheerfully. "But wow, that sounds really pretty!"

"In downtown Denver," Thurston added. "But I also have a plantation."

Pinkie had no idea where that was, so she just smiled and nodded. "Ooo, what do you grow there?"

"Sugar and coffee," Thurston said. "In different sections, of course."

"Wow! You could make some really tasty cakes out of that!"

"I'd never thought of that," Thurston said, chuckling.

"Oh, I always think about cakes. I used to work in a bakery back in Ponyville."

"What brought you into teaching chemistry instead?" Thurston asked.

"Oh! Well, the Princess asked us all to travel and learn more about friendship in other places, and I ended up here in Fandom."

"That makes sense," Thurston declared, not exactly sounding convinced.

"My friends and I are very close to Princess Celestia." Maybe they could just pretend she was from a small European kingdom.

It wasn't like his canon had ever been overly concerned with accuracy, so sure!

"It's always nice to be friends with royalty," he said, feeling on slightly firmer ground here.

"Oh, do you have a princess friend, too?"
