Journalistic Integrity (Wednesday, February 8 - 6th period)

"All right. We've talked a lot about lines, and when to cross them," Rita said thoughtfully. "Who determines those lines? Is it always the subject? And what if the subject of the investigation isn't a person, or has no way of communicating their aversion to being profiled?"

She strolled around to sit on her desk. "Where does the reporter draw the line, really?"

"If the subject of the investigation can't communicate their aversion to being profiled, then how can the reporter really know that there's a problem? Most of us aren't mind readers. And in this day and age, if they can't communicate with the reporter, there's a good chance they won't even see what's being written about them, so there's shouldn't be a problem at all."

Chloe does her best to look innocent and sweet, not wanting to be turned into any sort of creature.
