So You're a Fugitive From Justice, Tuesday, 3rd Period

"Easy class today, everyone," Zayne said. "I like to call this one 'What Not To Do.' In order to learn that, we're going to watch a strangely popular TV show called COPS."

"Some key points to consider. Don't stay where the police will almost certainly find you. Stay in shape just in case you need to run away. Treat your friends and family with respect so they don't have to call the police on you. And most importantly, try to keep a pair of pants handy, if not actually on you. You don't want to be chased halfway around town in your underwear."

Why yes, Zayne had just found out about this show. And he couldn't stop watching reruns.

It was either this or hear about how one of his crew members was secretly an evil psychopath who ran an expert long con on him and, well, this was more fun.

Cara eyed the program with a morbid curiosity. This couldn't be real.

She also wondered if the fifth floor television had ever inflicted this show on Bruce, it seemed that kind of program.

Anakin was vaguely intrigued by the show, in the sense that as tawdry and ridiculous as it was it seemed awfully tame compared to Coruscant . . .

Annie had calmed down a bit from yesterday. She kept telling herself that the next letter she got would not only be an acceptance but also mean she could actually go to college. And so maybe she wouldn't actually get to go to the schools she wanted. Forget that she'd applied to a few Ivy League schools. Someplace had to let her get in.

And if not... well, she could just watch this show and LOOK INTO HER FUTURE.

No, seriously, she actually thought that.

Miley watched, yes. And she thought of the time she'd been in jail. So those would be her eyes growing steadily wider as she realized the extent of the criminal lifestyle.
