You know. Hypothetically. Not that that had ever happened to him or anything... "So it's bad, is what I'm saying. Don't do it. And when people try it on you, whether they're trying to get you to have sex or get a tattoo or buy stupidly expensive clothes or work for the government hunting down other people with superpowers, tell them to get lost.

Yeah, Natalie was getting that. The avoidance.

But she was also aware that there'd be play rehearsal on Thursday and that would probably be even more awkward if she didn't deal with this now. So, after contemplating it for a moment, she tore a piece of paper from her notebook, wrote a couple of words on it, and tossed it Billy's way.

Natalie thought more words weren't necessary (though she thought she might still touch on the topic later, somewhere where she didn't need to do it in writing), so she just gave him a slight nod, and... not quite a smile, but some brief look of understanding, and a little shrug, like, 'what can you do?'

Wasn't anyone's fault but Fandom's.
