Superheroing 101, Thursday, Period 4

Another week, another class with Electroclash standing in front of the students with a sour-ish look on her face. This time, though, they were meeting in the Danger Shop, which meant there really was no reason for their teacher to look so annoyed, since she didn't actually have to do much beyond verbally telling the room what to do.

But she was annoyed just on principle, thank you very much.

"Okay rugrats, my teaching outline says today you'll be introduced to practical heroing," she announced once everyone had arrived. Or most of them, at least. She wasn't keeping count that closely. "So, you're all gonna put on your costumes, assuming the sidekick is present and has lived up to his name and acquired them for you, and then you're going to do simulations of some heroics. You can do them by yourself, or you can partner up, I don't care. Power usage is encouraged. And afterwards, I'm supposed to ask you for your thoughts on the tasks or whatever. So that might happen."

She gestured to the dressing rooms to the side. "Well, get on it."

[Wait for the OCD! OCD up!]

This is what happens when your real super power is money. Lots of money. And occasionally daddy issues.

"I have been dying to look at the hardlight systems," Tony admitted.

Don't forget a love of science! And technology! Really, everyone should just be grateful that Lex was going to go at least fifteen more years before deciding to try and build his own suit of flying armour. Probably.

As it was, hardlight systems sounded like something very relevant to Lex's interests. "You never know when we might need to know about them, what with the island getting invaded every other month."

"Like superheroes should!" Ah, justification. Always nice.

"Warrior Angel would do it." No, no he would not, Lex.

Tony nodded in completely off agreement. "So would Captain America."

Instead facepalming. Really.

"It's clearly our only option." This is how you end up becoming a supervillian, Lex.

At least Len had excuse. Tony was just a bad hero.

"Now we just need to make sure and crimes committed are near something like this and we're set."
hasadestiny: ([pos] watching you)

"We should probably start small," Lex said, lack of powers and all. "But bigger than a cat up a tree." Since they were nowhere near halfway through rescuing the cat, suggesting an arson case did not cross his mind.

Lex, not Len. Autocorrect, you fickle bastard.

"Bank robbery?" Tony suggested. Because he was insane.

Like we didn't already know Len was a supervillian?

Like Lex was the most mentally stable person ever, even if he was still a few years from a psychotic break. "Sounds good to me."

Oh god, it all makes sense now!

Tony dug out his phone to bring up schematics he really shouldn't have on a bank. "Normal robbers or should we give them super powers. As a challenge."

"Powers might get noticed," Lex said after thinking about it. "We can save them for next time."

Sure, there was going to be a next time. Yep.
