Dorothy settled behind the desk in the library after shelving all the returns. Pulling out a large book of US history, she pored over the pages whenever she could get a moment. Trying to absorb all the information she could, she was both giddy with the experience of learning and flustered by how much had seemingly happened in the past one hundred years. Dorothy was only up to 1910, she had a long way to go.

She'd happily set the book aside in case anyone needed help in the library.
