Library, 02/07

Angela gets to the library early, and blearily wonders why there still isn't a coffeemaker around.

She props herself behind the counter, and looks through the books that need to be reshelved, hoping to find something she wants to read. Or maybe she's just looking at the pictures. It's early.

The library is now open for all your library-type needs.

Rory had finally arrived.

"I hate Tuesdays," she said by way of greeting.

"Mmm," Angela agrees. "Have you talked to Zero yet?"

"Not yet. Parker said she's mad," Rory said, biting her lip.

Angela nods. "She asked me if I was in on it as soon as she came in, and when I said I was, she disappeared. Wouldn't talk to me unless she does, as we're still playing this out." She sighs. "I guess I can see why she's mad, though."

"Because she was left out, or because it was dangerous?" Rory wondered.

"Yes?" Angela says. "I mean, both. I don't really know, though. Did Parker say?"

"That's what she said, actually. Little bit of both."

Rory sighed. "I wish people were taking this whole thing better."

"He's not mad but we all just got a lecture from Professor Tick," Rory replied.

Angela raises one eyebrow. "Oh? Were there metaphors?"

"Surprisingly no," Rory said. "He was disappointed that we didn't go to him, and he kind of feels like he's not getting through to us."

"He was proud of us. Just disappointed about how we did it," Rory shrugged.
