Parker opened the library, and started making plans. She may have been drinking a lot of coffee.

Rory's back, and buried in a book.

No, she doesn't know what book. She's not paying attention, really.

Angela waves. "Hey, Rorita. Whatcha reading?"

Rory blinked and looked at the book.

"Um. A Midsummer Night's Dream, apparently."

Angela raises an eyebrow. "It's not like you to forget Shakespeare," she points out. "You're, like, five million miles away. What's up?"

"Just thinking," Rory said with a smile. "How are things? Have you talked to Marty since Friday?"

"Things are okay," Angela says. "But I haven't seen him since Friday. Then again, I didn't leave my room until the superbowl party. Plus, I think I kind of freaked him out Friday night."

"Has he been in the library today?"

"Thought I saw him earlier, but I was fending off Parker," Rory said, making a face. "How did you freak him out?"

"I, um, suggested he could stay in my room if he didn't want to be around his roommates," Angela says, blushing. "I mean, as a friend! And he shouldn't be alone with people who can teleport and throw fireballs after him."

"Aw," Rory said with a smile. "And that freaked him out? You were just being nice and all."

"I know. Boys are strange," Angela said. "I think that's my theory, anyhow."

Remembering something else Rory had said, she asked, "Why was Parker after you? Does she want you to help her get revenge on Marty, too?"

"It's a good theory," Rory agreed. "Um, no, Parker was just convinced that my good mood had some kind of...reason behind it."

Angela smiled. "Sounds really annoying."

"Wait, does it?"

Rory blushed again. "No. At least, not what Parker thought, anyway."

Angela tilts her head to one side, noting the blush.

"Okay. Knowing Parker, and from how pink you just got ... she thought you and ... hypothetical-boy ... got, like, hypothetically intimate, right? And that's not it?"

Rory sighed. "Hypothetically, that hasn't happened yet. There's been...stuff. But not that. And so, no, I'm just in a good mood because, yay, people survived the weekend! And so on."

"Yay, everyone's alive, and we all have all our limbs," Angela agrees. "That is kind of worth a good mood."

"Did you end up singing, Saturday? I missed that whole thing?"

"A little," Rory said, grateful for the change in topic. "I sand at the party in Angel and John's room with Bridgey and Cal and Molly. And then the next morning, just to freak Xander out. After I tore tape off his mouth, which? Ow."

"Who taped Xander's mouth shut? And I can't believe you guys let me miss a party."

"I think Xander taped Xander's mouth shut." Rory looked apologetic. "I would have called you, but it got really big, really fast, and I actually didn't know you weren't there."

"Xander taped his own mouth shut?" Angela chortles. "That's not a choice I would make, but if it made him happy, whatever. He miust really hate his singing voice."

"And I'm just teasing about Saturday. I was ~~AFK~~ feeling antisocial anyhow, so I would have been, like, no fun. I needed time to recharge after Friday, y'know?"

"He had a whiteboard," Rory noted.

"And yeah, I totally get that. I was only there because I had been puppy-sitting Sean, and I ended up sticking around and socializing." She frowned. "Oh, and Bridgey knows that thing that only you and Parker know about."

Angela frowns. "Did you tell him, or did he ... I have no idea how his psychic stuff works. Sense it?"

"I mean, is it okay that he knows?"

"He sensed it. I guess the emotions were a dead giveaway." Rory shrugged. "He's not going to say anything. I mean, it's Bridgey. He's probably known for awhile."

Angela nods. "Yeah, Bridge probably has to be good at keeping secrets. I bet he knows all kinds of stuff that he can't talk about."

"Which makes it evekind of weird that he's so bouncy. I mean, if I knew everybody's secrets and emotions, I'd be upset all the time, probably."

"Anakin can, too," Rory said. "Sense emotions and stuff. I think Bridgey's gloves help block some of it out, but he picks up on really strong stuff, still. Like hate and love and so forth. I think, anyway."
