Grissom pins a list to the door of the danger shop, with the following three names.

Lisa Cuddy
Lilly Kane
Jaye Tyler

"Good morning, Ms. Cuddy, Ms. Kane, and Ms. Tyler. Now, let's be honest, none of us want to be here today. However, it would imprudent to waste this opportunity.

I'm going to ask you to sign in, and I've provided some ~~thankfully bug-free~~ breakfast for you, if you're hungry. You're going to need the energy, so I suggest eating something.

I'd also like you to put on the jumpsuit and goggles I have provided. Sorry about the jumpsuits being all men's extra-large, and from a prison warehouse, but it was more cost-effective that way."

"Now, on to our first activity...

[OOC: ~~Jaye, give me ten to get the crazy OCD comments up!~~ Done, and done. Yay. :) Detention will get out today in game around dinner time, but we can play it for as long as you'd like. ]

Grissom provides tools and materials for the next project on a workbench.

"Each of you need to build a simple maze (http://hereandabove.com/maze/mazeorig.form.html) for your roach. I then have sheets of plastic to put over the top, so that Hortense, Franklin, and Pete can not escape before our big finale.

You need to get your roach through the maze before we can proceed. Good luck!"

Lisa quickly constructs her maze out of cardboard and superglue, with her goggles still on, and then plops Hortense down into it.

Of course, Hortense gets stuck after less than 10 seconds and Lisa is reduced to banging on the plastic and yelling at a bug.

Lilly makes her maze out of rolled up pieces of magazines and duct tape, because she's in Shop and that's what they do.

When she lets Pete out, he scurries to the finish in less than a minute.

"Ha ha, Lis. My roach owns your roach."

"Kane, has anyone ever told you that you're kind of a bitch?"

"Me? Never," Lilly deadpans.

"Do you want to use my vastly superior maze? We can even block off the tough part, so your special little roach can make it to the end before we're trapped in detention forever. Think of it as a handicap."

"Fine," Lisa grumbles. "This never would have happened if I wasn't saddled with Hortense the Horrible here."

Lisa shakes Hortense out of her maze and into Lilly's, quickly putting down the plastic before the damn bug can escape. After ten minutes, Hortense finally moves.

"Oh my god, this sucks."
