School Announcements, 2/02/06

Dewey's voice echoes through the school... well, with the exception of his office, and certain evil mischevious folks did something horrible to his speakers. But as he has started the day off in the main office and is making the announcements from there, he is blisfully ignorant of the fact "It's a Small World" is currently playing on endless loop in his office.

"Todays is two-two o six, kids. So it includes tutu in the date. That must make it national ballerina day or something. And if not, why not? Anyways, after a slight day off yesterday, I have returned! And these are your announcements of today.

Okay, first item of business appears to be independant study groups? Like, there has been a frightening amount of studying going on, kids. I might have to call this study group into my office and lecture them on not being lo-hoo-sers. Get out and party! Meet new people, mingle, put on a Stones album and chill. Academics aren't that important."

Sounds of a slight scuffle are heard.

"Away with you, office monkey. I am the king of the land, and I shall decree what I want. School board complaints my butt. We don't even have a PTA! I answer to nobody. Mine is an evil laugh, muhuahahaha.

But seriously, erm, the other announcement I have is that in case he's been all secrety about it, Doctor House will be leaving us tommorow. So, I'd recommend that everybody who's ever had the doc help them get better stop in and say thank you one more time, 'cause that'd be the cool thing to do.

And that is really all I have to say. I'm a gonna go to my office now. So, these announcements were brought to you by the words 'Led' and 'Zeppelin'. Remember kids: There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold. And she's buying the stairway to heaven. Enjoy your schooly-type day!"

Parker's still gleeful that their new Principal is nothing like the last one-- although the mention of Led Zeppelin gives her pause. And the school board.

She almost hopes to get called in to ask about the study group. THat would be entertaining.
