Medical Post: The Gym

Susan, Zhaan, and others have numerous cots set up with dividers, and a table with their instruments in one corner of the gym. They are treated the injured and preparing for more casualties. After some quick and hasty introductions, they got ready for any incoming patients and hoped there wouldn't be any.

ETA: Post is closed to new play as of 11:22 EST. If you're injured, come into the clinic tomorrow-- the doctors are as fried as their players.

Maia came in blood all over her, she was helping Han "Help, we need some Help! (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/572795.html?thread=27551355#t27551355) Somebody."

Han has taken several razor-sharp ice-shards in his chest and neck. He's bleeding heavily. Older, frozen/dried blood crusts his right ear and side of his neck.

He's pale and babbling about sabbac to Maia, going on about the last idiot's array and how he had a skiffler but didn't use it.

Maia held onto Han and nodded "Its ok, its ok. Really why didn't you use the skiffler?" She said alarmed at the fact she still felt blood soaking through her clothing.

"Cheating, doll. No sense cheating when they dealt you a natural array. I called fast, you betcha." He gives her a loopy smile. "I am fast. Got a quick-draw, got a fast ship. Someday, I'm gonna have the fastest ship ever."

He's getting sweaty and his pupils are dilating.

"Maia, I'm really thirsty. Can you get me something?"

Maia nodded "Yeah I'll be right back ok." She hurried over and got a cup of water, lifting it to Han's lips she said "I know you'll have the best ship ever. You really will. Nobody is going to beat her. I need you to drink this now ok?" Maia tried to hold the water back up to his lips.

Hawkeye headed over to the newcomer. "Okay, here we go. We're going to get you on a cot."

Hen looks up. "Yes, sir." His legs don't seem willing to hold him, though.

[[ooc: Han's going into hypovolemic shock from blood loos, there are a lot of cuts and a couple are deep]]

Maia looked relieved someone had finally arrived. "Oh thank God. The snowmen, ice in his chest." Maia said trying to help Han in any way she could. "He's really lost a lot of blood." Maia's shirt and jacket are soaked in blood.

"I NEED SOME HELP OVER HERE," Hawkeye yelled to the others. He grabbed a hold of Han and struggled to get him onto a cot. "Stay back," he ordered the girl he didn't recognize. "What is this?" he asked Han while he was still awake. "Glass?"

"Ice." Han tries to help and manges to get himself onto the cot. "Missed anything vital, I think. House has records."

"Well, the good Doctor House missed our little party. These things are going to melt on their own soon and there are going to be a few big holes in your chest. I can patch them up, but you're not going to want to be awake for that part. Pretend I don't have your medical records. Is there anything I need to know about you?"

"Not mainstock human. Organs a little different."

Maia leaned against the wall holding what was left of Han's jacket. She was crying softly worried sick he was going to die right in front of her. "He isn't he isn't human sir." Maia said before they started to take Han away.

He gives her a small smile. "Shoulda gone ahead and stayed in detention today with the Tick."

Susan looked over from where she was finishing Sam's X-Ray, and called, "Two minutes!"

"NOW!"

Susan just made sure that Sam's leg was supported and she wasn't actively bleeding, stripped off and put on a new pair of gloves, then rushed over, "Oh God." She immediately put pressure to stop the bleeding.

Han yelps when the pretty lady touches his already sore chest.

"Hey," he says weakly.

"He needs surgery. I need to make sure they didn't hit anything plus patch everything up. Those shards are ice, so they're probably already melting. Whether we take them out or not, they'll be gone soon. I don't want to risk moving him, but we'll need a table and surgical equipment and anasthetic."

"Right, anaesthetic we have, surgical equipment we have, table we have over there," Susan said, pointing to the one portable table they'd managed to set up. "Give me thirty seconds, I'll grab it all."

And she did, yelling or help from bystanders, and pulling the table over to where Han was, and then grabbing surgical instruments that Janet had laid out earlier.

Tommy came over. "Whaddya need?"
