Gun Club: [1/28]
Since Parker told me I could couldn't seem to get her act together, Marty opened up the gun range and did a once-over the weapons locker to make sure that everything was in order.
He then made sure that the safety rules were up:
SAFETY RULES:
· TREAT ALL GUNS AS IF THEY WERE LOADED
· KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL READY TO FIRE
· BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT’S BEYOND
· ALWAYS WEAR HEARING AND EYE PROTECTION
· NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR DRUGS BEFORE OR WHILE SHOOTING.
· CHECK IN ALL WEAPONS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE RANGE.
Breaking any of these rules means an immediate visit with Mr. Smith, or the guy with the funny hat.
Come on in, sign in, and go 'splodey.

Re: Shoot
"Bunnynapped??? Gee-hosifat! That's horrible!"
She slid the cartridge into the barrel followed by the pistol ball.
Re: Shoot
She watches Pippi prepare her gun with interest; new weapons are always a good reson to visit Gun Club. This one looks antique but serviceable.
Re: Shoot
"That's good." she said, "'Cause if she wasn't, it would be clobberin' time." she sets up a target.
"Talk?" she asks cocking the dog. "Well, they don't talk English... Or even Swedish for that matter. But they make themselves understood well enough."
She takes aim with her left hand; while she's looking at the target, she's pointing the gun far wide to the left. She's practically pointing it at the wall.
"I know Professor Dream has spoken to Mr. Neilson. Old Man is more the strong silent type ya know?"
Re: Shoot
Parker's lips quirked. "I'll take your word for it on the Old Man. And I find it's always good to check-- there are a couple of talking animals around here. Or ones that used to be students." She cocked her head. "If you don't mind my asking, where did you get that firearm?"
Re: Shoot
"Heck heck heck!" said Pippi putting down the gun and dumping all the pistol balls out of the pouch onto the counter.
"Where'd I get it? Oh, my Papa and me, we used to travel
pillaging and lootingall over. Wekilled a bunch of pirates andpicked this upoff a corpsesomewhereoff the coastaround Madagascar."She pulled out a jar of some think looking ointment and started polishing each pistol ball with it.
Re: Shoot
"What the hell?" Looking from the gun to the target, she asks, "How the hell is it working, when you're not aiming it at the target?"
Re: Shoot
She shrugged, continuing to polish her ammo with the ointment and a bit of leather, dropping each one back in the pouch when she was done with it.
"It's a flintlock. They're actually better for more up close and personal type stuff." she said, "Usually you need a lot of them and you don't shoot until you can get it here." She stuck her index and pointer finger into her gut, "Or here." this time the held them up under her chin.
"You shoot and drop it, grabbing another off your belt to shoot again, or you flip it around and club your assailant over the head with it, that's partly why you got this metal bit at the end of the grip here." Pippi picked up the gun, holding it by the barrel, just ahead of the Lock and mimed bashing somebody with the heavy wooden grip of the gun.
"If you shoot from range it's very inaccurate... Unless of course you've been using a particular piece for a very long time and you're used to its particular inaccuracies of course." she smiled.
"Wanna try?"
