Danger Shop!Caritas:

After much hasseling from some guy with green skin, Mac opens the door to the Danger Shop and transforms it into a reasonable replica of the bar in town.

Lorne has smuggled in a bunch of alcohol onto the premises and has set up shop behind the bar.

Jake, Elwood and the rest of the band have set up their gear.

Mac hopes that his shop is still standing before the end of the weekend.

[[The band will be doing a few numbers, but the stage is open for anyone to sing]]

"I'll take that as a no," Edmund said dryly. "How about 'I Married the Baker's Daughter, But She Was Nothing But a Tart'?"

"Country and Western? I'll have you know that is a traditional Clan MacAdder lay."

"Well why didn't you say that in the first place?"

The band immediately begins to play the proper music.

"Do we know it?" Matt says...

The band begins to play the familiar tune.

She grabs the mic and rips it up. Well, ok, she doesn't make dogs howl at least.

Chain, chain, chain, chain, chain, chain
Chain, chain, chain, chain of fools
Five long years I thought you were my man
But I found out I'm just a link in your chain
You got me where you want me
I ain't nothing but your fool
You treated me mean oh you treated me cruel
Chain, chain, chain, chain of fools

Every chain has got a weak link
I might be weak child, but I'll give you strength
You told me to leave you alone
My father said come on home
My doctor said take it easy
Whole bunch of lovin is much too strong
I'm added to your chain, chain, chain
Chain, chain, chain, chain,
Chain, chain of fools

One of these mornings the chain is gonna break
But up until then, yeah, I'm gonna take all I can take
Chain, chain, chain, chain, chain, chain
Chain, chain, chain, chain of fools

Veronica goes up and tells the band what she wants to sing. She smiles at Logan before she starts.

Woo
Sweet revelation got me
Levitating over ground
Life and all it's vibrations
No, I'm never coming down
Oh you're my own superhero
Keeps watching over me
I like it when you say
My green blue eyes are your constellation
To some light house in the sea
If your car stalls in the middle of the road in snow, I know
I know you'll be here
Lights out, in all of the city, black out, no doubt
I know you'll be here
River flows through the streets, and my homes afloat
I know you'll be here
Stranded in the middle of China, they'll find ya
I know you'll be here
I'll be
Waiting by the window
With a view of the parking light
No matter how long it takes ya
Never fails to come through every night
If your car stalls in the middle of the road in snow, I know
I know you'll be here
Lights out, in all of the city, black out, no doubt
I know you'll be here
River flows through the streets, and my homes afloat
I know you'll be here
Stranded in the middle of China, they'll find ya
I know you'll be here
Here
At the speed of lightning
Here
With the stars aligning
Here
Oh, Here

Phoebe takes the stage.

"There was a time when men were kind
When their voices were soft
And their words inviting
There was a time when love was blind
And the world was a song
And the song was exciting
There was a time
Then it all went wrong

I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untasted

But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
And they turn your dream to shame

He slept a summer by my side
He filled my days with endless wonder
He took my childhood in his stride
But he was gone when autumn came

And still I dream he'll come to me
That we will live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather

I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed the dream I dreamed..."
