Student Council meeting (Lunch)

Josh waited for the Student Council members to come into the classroom before he put down his copy of the Montana newspaper he was reading.

"First of all, the votes have been counted. Congratulations to Callisto, our new Student Council president."

Josh looked down at the piece of paper where he had scrawled notes from last week. "I took some of your ideas to the administration, and they seem to be fine with them. You need to set up some hard dates if you want them to be implemented, especially for a senior trip, a spring break trip, Spirit Week, and any dances you're interested in hosting. Valentine's Day is coming up," Josh looked distinctly underwhelmed by the approach of the holiday, "so you should probably tackle that one first. But getting dates for everything else would make everyone's lives easier."

He looked at Parker. "I heard that you got some interesting results for your survey at the club fair--care to share with the group?"

[OOC: As before, slowplay is our friend to make sure that everyone on the council gets a chance to chat.]

Angel sat and nursed his mug of pig's blood. The claw marks on his cheek were fainter than they'd been yesterday, but his skin was pale even for him, and when he moved it was obvious his ribs were killing him.

As for the broody stoic thing? Oh yeah. In spades, baby.

"Good afternoon!" said Pippi while munching happy on her improvised meatloaf sandwitch from the Caf.

She is so cheerful. :)

It's possible Angel grunted in return. Might've just been a noise he made while drinking. Tough call.

Alanna glanced over at Angel and raised a brow. Faithful snuck off of her lap and pounced over to Angel. "You look, well, deader." He purred.

"Ran into Dru." It was either a sign of how much Angel liked Faithful, or how well Faithful had trained him, that Angel automatically started petting the cat even though he was deep into the broody stoic thing.

Faithful purred and tilted his head. "The vampire?"

Alanna peered at Angel. "Can I offer my services as a healer? And as someone who really likes chopping things?"

Angel raised his eyebrows. "Can you fix broken ribs?"

Parker smiled at him as the meeting ended. It wasn't her nice smile. "So. Going monster-slaying tonight, St. George?"

"Mmm. What time are we leaving?"

"Cam's got to get some supplies," Angel said. He doodled pictures of weapons on his notebook where Parker could see.

Blair sat down and looked over at Angel. "You okay, man?"

"I'll live," Angel said. "How're you doing?"

[identity profile] lovechildblair.livejournal.com 2006-01-27 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
"That's...good to hear, I guess." Blair shrugged. "Good! I got the package from the mission. Nothing of mine...but there was clothes."

"That's good. You must be freezing with this weather."

Isabel looked over at Angel and frowned. "Are you okay?"

Angel nodded. "I'll live. How about you? I'm sorry about Darla."

"I'm fine," Isabel said. "She never got near me. And it's not your fault."

"I'll get her," Angel promised. Whether that meant he agreed with Isabel's assessment was unclear.

Callisto frowned at thw way ANgel was moving and since she didn't know about Macho-time in the gym, wondered if last night's scrapbooking had anything to do with it. "So, vampire hunting?"

Re: General chatting

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-01-27 10:57 pm (UTC)(link)
"Tomorrow," Angel said. "Bring your favorite weapons."

Re: General chatting

[identity profile] psycho-barbie.livejournal.com 2006-01-27 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
"Just my favourites?" Callisto asked. "Or I should I bring enough to share with the rest of the class."

"See, now you're just trying to get me to offer you sex when we're done."

"Geez, everyone has been beat up recently, haven't they?" Peter asked himself. He figured that most people had already asked him about what happened, so Peter just said, "Hey there. Cold, isn't it?"

Peter kind of sucked at small talk.
