"I wish. Debt of honor. Don't ask, don't tell..." She palmed her face. "Unless someone asks. This has to get back to certain people I'll be killing later."

Broots blinked and flushed red. "Miss Parker! I don't like being used for revenge!" He might have pouted.

"I'm not the one getting revenge here!" she yelled back. "I'm am the vengee! Or the person under duress! Okay? Got it? Deal!"

She sighed, looking resigned. "So. Do you know Angela Chase?"

Broots took a catious step back. "Um, the red head? Not the violent one."

"Right, the non-violent one." Parker sighed. "She's not dating anyone at the moment."

Broots rubbed at his head and contimplated recommending a good psychologist. "Miss Parker?"

"I'll treat you guys to a nice dinner together, if you don't ask me questions about this until Monday?"
Parkers don't beg, but this one was getting close to it.

Broots looked at Miss Parker as if she had grown a second head. "Um, sure?" Backing away from the crazy person, good.

"You could ask her out now," Parker suggested. "Or, you know. Tomorrow. Whenever's good."

Broots gaped. "Um...? Me?" He squeaked. And tried to remember the number of the psychologist.

Parker glared at him. "I already got you a Homecoming date. I can't keep doing this if you don't put in *any* effort."

"555-3415." Broots finally remembered, out loud. "Um, where I find her?"

Parker gave him a look as if he were the deeply crazy one. "She's over there by the counter. Whose phone number did you just bibble at me?"

Broots's faced flushed even redder. "Um, psychologist friend of my mum's." He looked ready to bolt for the nearest county line.

"You better give her a call, if asking Angela out is giving you a panic attack," Parker said, giving him a suspicious look.

Broots kind of glared at her. It was more of a pleading look. "I'm not the one randomly kissing people!" He kind of flapped his hands and seriously considered moving to Canada.

Parker's glare intensified into a scowl. "I had a reason. And I'll explain it later. And I am not crazy!" She shrugged, rolling her eyes. "Ask her out, don't ask her out, I was trying to be nice. Forget it if it's too much effort."

"You're welcome." Parker spun on her heel, and stalked back to her snickering comrades, glaring them to death as she walked.
