Parker smiled. "And Dr. Pierson will forgive you a lot if you tell him what happened to Janet. If you're sure you wanna go...." She shrugged, then grinned. "I'd offer you a cupcake, but I ate the one Lee brought me. Ambush him somewhere, tell him I said to give you carbs."
"MMMMmmm, carbs! I might have to do that. If not I'll hit Xander's stash when I get back to the room. He always has snacks."
"I'll probably go to class, I've already been to town and had coffee so I'm a bit wired for the moment. Class will give it time to wear off." She yawned, "Or I'll just have a short nap and risk projectiles."
"Actually, speaking of Professor Lyman, do you know when the next StuCo meeting is? I was thinking that I should go ahead with a game night. Given all the turmoil in town, it would probably be better if we did something to keep everyone entertained in the dorms and safe."
"Heh. You guys are roomies? That's gotta be... interesting."
"Next StuCo is tomorrow. I think you're right, though, games night tonight will only help. I just wish the Second Floor Common Room had furniture again."
Isabel laughed. "I had pretty much the same reaction. But he's really a nice guy so I can't complain. I mean I could be rooming with some lunatic who didn't shower or moped all the time."
"You're right, maybe a small game night tonight might work. Maybe we could play cards or something? Because Peter-mun and I have not yet figured out how to do OCD threads for anything more elaborate. Our common room is still in good shape, we can always play there."
"Fair point. And Harris has always been a helpful guy, if you asked. I'm guessing he wouldn't take advantage of having a girl for a roommate, the way some guys would."
"Yeah, cards, or Risk? Although that can get ugly. Fair enough, heh. Which one is yours, fourth?"
"He's been very sweet. Although he swore I was a gremlin bite induced hallucination the first night. Actually I couldn't have asked for a better roommate." She grinned, "Of course I haven't explained to my folks that my roommate is a guy. But what they don't know won't hurt them."
"I do need to sleep tonight in RL also so Risk probably isn't that great an idea. But cards would be fun. And yes, the fourth floor. As long as no one wants to watch movies it should be fine. Want to come up around eight?"
"If we didn't have the gremlins to blame stuff on, I think we'd have to make them up." Parker grinned. "And eight sounds good. I'll see you then. Take it easy on that sleeping-in-class."
