"Thingies go," Angela says. "Squid Lady threatened Marty. I hate that I'm so worried about this when we aren't even together. I made this puppet of Angel. That's my exciting news."

"How was Special collections yesterday? I didn't see you and Anakin come out?"

"SC itself didn't do anything to us," Rory shrugged. "We found his books and there was a holo-thingy, too. It was kind of fun - he's all famous and stuff. Was in the index of one book."

"And of course you still worry about Marty. I'm now worried about Marty."

"Anakin's famous? Wow," Angela says. Yet, strangely, she doesn't actually seem all that surprised. "What for?"

"And I wish I trusted Marty not to do something that will get him killed. He told me he wouldn't, but..." her voice trails off. "It's a problem," she says finally.

"He's one of those Chosen One people," Rory shrugged. "There's prophecy about him and stuff."

She sighed. "Marty's smart. He's not going to go get hurt by Drusilla again."

"Prophecy. That's so impressive -- what is he supposed to do? Though I kind of like being all destiny-free."

She sighs as she contemplates the question of her ex. "He's not stupid, but he tends to just do stuff first and think later. And if he thought something would help him get redemption, he might not care what the risk was. He promised me he'd stay on campus, anyhow, so that's something."
