Blair bounces in with a stack of notebooks and detours over to the counter when he sees Parker.

"Parker! Good morning!"

"Is it?" Parker asked dryly, still out of sorts from talking to Jarod. "Doubtful. What do you want?"

"It's not?" Blair bounced. "Nothing, I'm here to study for awhile but I wanted to say hi. How's your bunny doing? Did the vet find out what was wrong with her?"

Parker ground her teeth, thinking of the vet's next 'bill.' "No," she said shortly. "They have to keep her until the end of the week."

Blair frowned and dug into his backpack briefly. "That's too bad, Parker. I hope she feels better soon."

Dragging out a box of chocolates and a red sucker he held them up. "Do you want candy? I got a huge basket of chocolates from my secret sibling and Dr. House gave me the sucker." Blair bounced happily. "He also told me to tell you that he gave me a red one, why is that?"

"Thanks." Parker folded her arms, shuddering a little. "I got one for helping clean up the blood from where Vala Mal Doran got stabbed."

"oh." Blair gulped. "That's uh...a good reason to get one I guess."

"Is she going to be okay? What happened? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. I got there after it happened. Janet Fraiser's all banged up too, Vala's going to be okay after a stay in the clinic..." She really shouldn't dwell on what *might* have happened. The might-have-beens always hit her later, unanticipated. And she was freaking the freshman. Great. "They got attacked, the town's a little crazy now. But it'll be fine. Really."

Blair nodded slowly. "Whoa, man. That's...whoa."

"I'm glad you weren't hurt, Parker. I heard that town is not safe right now, it sucks that a student got hurt. There aren't any pig-police officers in town?"

"Evidently not," Parker said dryly. "And this is why the rest of us *like* the pigs. Most of the time. Don't go into town for now, okay?"

"Yeah, man. I hear you." Blair bounced and smiled. "I'm busy today and tomorrow, but I've got work on Friday plus Ivanova invited me to visit Wonka's shop. But I'll be safe."

"Good." Parker rubbed her temples. "Now please. Go away? I'm about to have a bad day. I can't be responsible for what I do."

"Sure thing, man." Blair nodded and bounced off to a table and started studying.

The Librarian is in today and can be seen crawling from his hammock first thing in the morning. He climbs onto the shelves and disappears into the stacks. He could probably be sought out if someone needed him, but he looks quite busy.
