His index finger scoops up a bit of the white icing on the carrot cake and dots it on her nose with a chuckle, "Eat your cake, little girl." he whispered teasingly.

Paige wrinkles her nose at him then raises an eyebrow, "watch who you're calling little, I might be sick but I reckon I could still take you," she smirks then leans in towards him, "so are you gonna fix the fact I have icing on my nose or just leave me looking like dork?"

He kisses her forehead gently, his tongue licking the frosting off the bridge of her nose, "Mmm. Yum!" he grins stupidly, adjusts his sunglasses to the top of his head, holding back his hair.

Paige grins and kisses him, "remind me to go buy a can of frosting when I'm all better won't you?" she whispers close to his ear.

A large grin overtakes him and he blushes giddly, "Deal." he taps her nose, leaning in to give her a quick kiss before standing, "I'm going to go take a quick smoke, I'll be back." he kisses the top of her head.

Coming back 5-10 minutes later, he's a lot more calm than normal. Ah, lovely nicotine, that will be the death of this very cowboy.

Paige watches him leave and pulls out her note adding can of frosting to her Valentine's day list, which may or may not also include cowgirl outfit.

"You're feeling okay right?" she asks when he comes back, "I don't wanna get you sick too."

"I'm fine. I don't feel a hint of sickness on me at all." he'd probably catch it later on in the year, watch!

She smiles and strokes his cheek to check for fever, "yeah you feel okay," she agrees, "well more than okay actually," she contines before starting to cough again, damn her body ruining the flirting

His hand goes to rub her back, soothing the coughing in her system, his brow dropped in concern, "You should get back in bed, darlin'. You can only be out in the mix of things for so long." he leaned over and gave her a kiss to her cheek.

Paige nodded, "I have classes this afternoon, I'll be okay, don't worry I'll rest after class, I'll sure I'll be fine." she tells him hugging him gently.
