Jung - Archetypes, Etc. (Thursday, 01/19/2006, 7th Period)
"Last time, we watched Star Wars IV: A New Hope Space Battles XII: A New Start," said Jenny. "There were a few archetypes in there. I heard a lot of you guys talking about wondering what the archetypes are, and that's what we're going to cover when I'm not posting class at 10 PM at night later. Let's start out with telling me what Jungian archetype you think each character was."
OOC: Yes, I normally write these the day of class and post them while I'm at work. Sadly, work was very busy today. I'm sorry. Next week, we'll be back to normal.
Also, the three characters we've had named so far are Dark Helmet (the villain, of course), Hanno (gosh, maybe Han) and Leanna (Leia, naturally). Go nuts with other names and plot points and stuff, guys. I'm keeping our pop culture thread/list updated on this, of course.

Re: Discussion - "Space Battles" Characters & Jungian Archetypes
Anakin made a face. "And what was up with the obvious phallic symbolism in those Staffs of Light, anyway? I'd rather not think about why Ted was keeping Duke's uncle's Staff of Light around for all of those years, anyway. Kind of strange obsession to have."
