Jung - Archetypes, Etc. (Thursday, 01/19/2006, 7th Period)

"Last time, we watched Star Wars IV: A New Hope Space Battles XII: A New Start," said Jenny. "There were a few archetypes in there. I heard a lot of you guys talking about wondering what the archetypes are, and that's what we're going to cover when I'm not posting class at 10 PM at night later. Let's start out with telling me what Jungian archetype you think each character was."

OOC: Yes, I normally write these the day of class and post them while I'm at work. Sadly, work was very busy today. I'm sorry. Next week, we'll be back to normal.

Also, the three characters we've had named so far are Dark Helmet (the villain, of course), Hanno (gosh, maybe Han) and Leanna (Leia, naturally). Go nuts with other names and plot points and stuff, guys. I'm keeping our pop culture thread/list updated on this, of course.

OCD threads coming are up.

"Duke, the whiny annoying kid who's just like his dad at that age? He's the hero," Angel said. "He's got the whole stupid journey to go on just to prove himself."

"I don't like him, either," Anakin said. "Stupid hair. Whiny voice. Reminds me of someone I know. Can't think of who, though."

Lee doesn't want to admit that Duke reminds him of a young Tom Zarek himself. Just a little.

Only with a cape.

"Aren't heroes always annoying?"
