Journalism 101/201 (Wednesday, January 18 - 5th period)

Rita sat on the edge of her desk, looking grumpy.

"Boys and girls, if you haven't turned in your headlines, please do so.

I'd like you to tell the class about your headline, and why you chose the subject matter you did. What sort of publication would have a headline like yours? A special interest magazine? Or a general newspaper?"

Anakin stared at his desk for a long time.

"My headline was POOL CLOSED: POSSIBLE LINK BETWEEN SOLO, FERRET SEX?" because of something that Draco and I were, um, discussing in class last week." He blushed. "I recognized the name of one of the beings called into the principal's office after he said the pool had been closed, and remembered some strange phone calls about ferret, um, reproduction. Draco was wondering if the ferrets had been the reason the pool had been closed."

Anakin's ears were bright red. "I kind of combined them. I'm pretty sure this kind of headline would only make sense in a very specific kind of publication."

Rita tapped her finger against her chin. "Putting aside the fact that I don't recall you and Mr. Malfoy discussing anything, Mr. Skywalker, I'm curious about the 'solo' aspect. Is this to indicate that the ferret sex is, in fact, a...special alone time for the ferret? Or is it a reference to that insufferable, disgustingly irritating Mr. Solo and his compatriots who I had to endure in detention this week?"

Anakin blushed harder. He wasn't about to admit to passing notes in class, though. He wasn't that stupid.

"You know Han?" he asked instead, surprised.

"I know him in the sense that I jinxed him every which way in detention this week. Horned his tongue, grew out his eyebrows, locked his legs...all because he refused to follow a simple instruction. And I lit a fire under his chair, too. You'd think that'd have an effect. Passive-aggressive little twit," Rita scowled.

Anakin hid a smile behind his hand. "Corellians can be like that," he said carefully. "A little, um, recklessly foolhardy."
