301--InterComm 3rd period
"So both sender and receiver have an assumed goal of wanting to accurately percieve the message. Let's talk about what happens when there is interferance. Something external that impedes the message. It could be time, distance, technology...it could be foreign influences like alcohol or noise...lots of stuff. How do we work around it? Do we modify the message? Do we look for it to get resent, or do we judge based upon what we are given?

401--Advanced 5th period
We've looked at images of power. I'm really pleased with what you guys came up with. Now...power is ubiquitous and constant. We face it every day. In 301 we talked about hegemony and power structures in S/M/R...who has it, who wants it. What do you think about power? Nothing trite, let's really tear into it. Talk to each other. Learn from each other. I'll jump in when needed.
