Magical Theory (Monday, 01/16/2006, 5th Period)

"Hey, guys. Today, we're going to be watching The Craft, and on Wednesday, we'll discuss your impressions of the movie. Sound like a plan?"

ETA: The door to the classroom is closed to minimize disturbances from the hallway.

OOC: I was offline all day. OMG. Please ignore the misspelling of 'conjure' in the imdb entry. Or snark it.

2nd ETA: Please post at least one line in the 'discussion' post roleplaying watching the movie and commenting on it if you want. That will count as your discussion credit for today's class. I should have mentioned this in the inital post, but didn't, and I'm sorry. I've tried to ping everyone who signed in before I made this edit.

Kiki nods. "But so many movies treat it like that. It's like in the 'Wizard of Oz' - Are you a good witch, or a bad witch? When really the answer is, 'Witches are human.'"

Xander grinned. "Yeah, no argument there. Good point. Or well, not all witches are human, probably. But they're people, anyway."

"OK, also good point - not all witches are human, I agree," Kiki replies, "but just like with ordinary people, you can't just pigeon-hole them as good or bad."
