Welcome Dance - the Gym

The streamers and banners are up. So are a zillion multi-colored helium balloons.

The floor is cleared, and the bandstand is up at the north side of the room, ready for Dusted Bunnies to take their places.

The refreshment table, with the (as yet) unspiked punch is in place. There are chips and stuff as well, Chex mix, a few nachos and some guacamole.

Pip laughs. "That's alright. I'd rather kiss Shep then the giant head in the tube. Though I'd rather kiss you more than Shep. Actually, of the three, you're the only one I'd actively want to kiss. But since you two are taken and Zordon is a head in a big glass tube, I'll have to keep looking for people."

Lana blinks at him, trying to process everything he's said. "Wow, that's really sweet of you. If I wasn't taken - wait... Shep? Am I taken? I think maybe I am."

"I think... maybe... Shep? Am I your girlfriend?" It's not really something they've *discussed* before and she probably wouldn't be asking if she weren't a little too toasty to censor herself, but given what they've been doing...

Han has just set down his own secnd cup of lemonade. He's got a better head for it though, so he's just lightly glowing.

Pip waves to the new guy. "Hiya," he says, slurring. "Pip Bernadette. With any luck, I'll remember your name tomorrow."

Pip glances over to Lana and Shep. "How about you take your two friends back to their rooms? That's your dare." He puts his cup down, cutting himself off. "But, you have to do it while singing the national anthem of your native land at the top of your lungs."

"Darlin' I'm not even sure I REMEMBER the planetary anthem. But I'll give it a go."

Han looks to Lana. "Doll, you ready to go home to bed?" He l;ooks for Shep as he asks.

He arches an eyebrow at Pip. "You're welcome to come along."

Lana blinks at him. "I guess so. But I didn't get to do another Truth or Dare thing."

She looks around to find Shep slumped against the wall and wrinkles her nose. "Maybe you're right, we probably should go home."

Han smiles. "We'll play all you like, later. You can ask me embarassing questions about my anatomy and dare me to make out with Shep for your wicked amusement."

He wraps one arm around her waist and steers her toward Shep.

"Can we? When we get back to the room?" Lana smiles happily as Han tugs her over towards Shep. "You're very strong. And very sweet. Did I tell you that already?"

Pip shakes his head. "No, I promised a girl I'd save a dance with her. What kind of man would I be if I walked out on her? Offer is definitely appreciated, though."

Lana waves to Pip. "Night, Pip. See you in detention tomorrow. And if I turn out not to be dating Shep I'll let you know, but I don't think I'm not." She pauses. "I don't know if that came out right." She shrugs. "Anyway, good night!"

Lana looks a little startled at Han's appearance beside her. "Oh, well, if you think we are, then we probably are. But if we're not, then that's nice of you to offer. Except I thought you preferred boys." She paused. "Somehow I'm not sure I'm making any sense."
