Welcome Dance - the Gym

The streamers and banners are up. So are a zillion multi-colored helium balloons.

The floor is cleared, and the bandstand is up at the north side of the room, ready for Dusted Bunnies to take their places.

The refreshment table, with the (as yet) unspiked punch is in place. There are chips and stuff as well, Chex mix, a few nachos and some guacamole.

Party on, dudes! And welcome to Fandom High.

Pip puts his hands in the appropriate places. There will be time for inappropriate places later. "Ohhh, an oldie. Gotta love it."

Chiana tries to keep her hands in appropriate places. Really she does. They might, occasionally, slip, however. Total accident. "New to me. Somehow I think I missed the part where Zero was in a band. Pretty drad music though!"

And if Pip's hands happen to slip, well, that's the way life goes, the invisible mun supposses. "I'm afraid I don't even know Zero," Pip responds. "Music's pretty... what's the word you used? I've never heard it before. Is it American slang or something?"

"Oh, she's the girl with the pink hair," Chiana says, before looking over at the band to check that she wasn't actually blonde or a cat. Because, really, it was just as likely. "Drad? Nope, not American, 'least as far as I know. It's one of those alien things. It's means.. very, very good."

"Ahhh, hence the pink hair song," Pip says. His hand might have possibly slipped in the wrong place at this point. And it might have possibly pinched. Just a little. "Nice," Pip comments. "I'm gonna have to remember that one. I'm starting a book of the slang throughout the multi-verse."

If it had, Chiana certainly wasn't about to complain. It's even possible she might've moved closer and did some squeezing of her own. "Really? You'll have to let me share, sometime. Could teach you some... not entirely appropriate ones," she says, smirking.

It's absolutely possible that Pip, in return, went for a more definite and firmer squeeze. "Oh, I'd love to," Pip responds. "I know lots of... not entirely approrpiate words. How about you? Know any good ones?"

Pip, being the pro that he is, doesn't comment on this and continues to dance.

But he will get back them soon enough.

Laughing just a little, Chiana has to ask, "Friends of yours?"

"Theoretically," Pip says. He shrugs, laughing. "So, pretty little gray alien, tell me some more about yourself. What do you do aside from learning new and innappropriate slang?"

"Me? Oh, I just like to have fun. Fun being sex, stealing, sex, fighting, sex, partying, sex; you know, that kinda fun," she says, grinning. "What about you? When your not redecorating the Principal's office, what do you do for fun?"

"Well, let's see. I've got a lot of the same interests as you," Pip responds. "Fighting's one of 'em. Unarmed and armed. Explosives. Don't do the stealing. Pull a lot of pranks. Oh, and I did mention sex? And porn. But the porn is only when I can't get the sex. And between you and me?" he asks as he leans ever closer to whisper in Chiana's ear. "I'm a big science fiction nerd. Oh, and I'm a pervert who likes sex. I did mention sex and porn, right? Only I forget sometimes."

"You should try the stealing thing, really. It's so much fun, if you do it right. Me and my friends robbed a bank once, then blew it up. It was totally drad." And also probably not a thing you'd normally admit to somebody but honestly, at this school that's *nothing*.

She grins at the last bit, and whispers back, "Good thing I've got a thing for perverted nerds, then. They tend to be the best kind."

"Really? You blew it up? That's awesome. I mean, that's drad. What kind of explosives did you use?"

He grins and leans in. "Do you really now? And do you have any peverted nerds at home I should be worrying about?"

~~As her mun does some fast looking-up because she can't remember~~ She says, "Oh, we..we didn't use explosives as much as one of our ships. He blew the frell out of it with his canon. We did make a planet explode once though with kronite and lutra oil."

Smiling, and tilting her head up towards his, she says, "Nope. Nobody you need worrying about." She'd ask if he had someone she should worry about, but it's not like it would stop her anyways.

"That's even cooler," Pip said.

"Oh good. And, just so you don't worry, let me assure that I don't either."

[[OOC: And now the mun is trying to figure out when Pip getting drunk on the spiked punch fits into all this, timeline-wise.]]

"Well, now that we've gotten that pesky worrying out of the way, what do you suggest we do about it?"

[ooc - Probably at the same magic time Chiana was talking with Jessica back at the non-spiked punch.]

Pip looks torn. "Well, I promised one Maia Rutledge I'd save a dance for her. After that... well, your room or mine? I think my roommate's using ours. Wouldn't want to bug him."

"Sure thing. And we can use mine," she says ~~assuming that Sharon doesn't need it since she hasn't posted in it and isn't online to ask~~.

Pip grins. "Excellent. Or drad. Or whatever."

[[OOC: Going to assume that she showed up and Pip danced with her? Because Pip wouldn't leave without doing it. He wouldn't break a promise like that. He's a man of few principles, but he holds them very strongly.]]
