"And the usual cast of thousands," Angela says, reaching over to squeeze his hand. "One of us should get a TV, someday. But I'll be in the third-floor common room whenever I finish my homework."

"I'll make sure to bring Min, if she isn't busy napping."

Marty takes her hand and squeezes back. "Our own TV? That's a pretty good idea. Then no one will yell at me when I try to change the channel when 'Bitterwoman' is on. Maybe I'll go to the emporium on Sat- I mean Sunday and see what they have."

"You're obsessed with that show," Angela tells him, then winces. "Hopefully the Librarian won't keep you too long on Saturday. I just cannot tell what goes through his monkey head, at all."

Marty smiles thinly and pushes away the rest of his sandwich, hunger now gone.

"Oh, I'm sure it'll be fine. I'll probably have to make him Banana Cream Pie or something like that," he joked with a fake grin on his face.

Angela knows that look.

"I'll tell Zero to ask the library to go easy on you," she says quietly. "Sometimes it listens to her. When it's in a good mood, anyhow.

"Thanks," he says softly, feeling something between awkward and nervous.

She finishes her yogurt, then reluctantly gathers her trash together. "I should get back to the library. See you tonight."

She leans over and kisses him on the forehead, letting her fingers linger in his hair for a second.
