Cally, braving the lunch room for the very first time, grabs two Hem un Chees-a sundveeches and some Surge. Because Surge is the best drink EVER, she just doesn't know it yet.

She sits down and starts to enjoy her sundveech. Because Ham and Cheese rocks almost as much as Surge.

Anders is also braving the lunch room for the first time ever, because he can't let Cally do that alone, can he?

He's opted for the Pesta Seled, though, and his usual extra-tall, extra-chocolatey mocha.

"How's the food, coach?"

"I think I know why Marty likes these so much." Cally says, taking another big bite. "You know, I don't see why everyone was so scared of the place."

Anders grins and digs into his salad. "You must've missed Hamlet in study hall last semester singing Billy Joel, then."

He chews thoughtfully and is totally not playing footsie with Cally under the table. "It's not bad, though. Pretty good, actually."

"Yep yep." Cally is totally playing footsie with Anders under the table. "And the drink is pretty good too."

"Yeah?" Anders leans over and sniffs at the drink interestedly, then looks disappointed when he doesn't smell anything. "Can I try?"

Cally passes it over. "Go ahead. It's... green."

Anders's eyebrow goes way up. "Green?"

He takes a sip anyway. "Okay. That's just weird."

"Come on. It's bubbly and awesome." Cally takes it back. "More for me, I guess."

"Thanks, coach, but I think I'll stick with my coffee." Anders winks and leans over to kiss Cally on the cheek. "Have a good class-free morning?"

"Nope. I always have class. I'm a classy kind of girl." Cally nods. "But my morning was good, thanks."

"Dork." Anders pokes Cally in the side. "That's not what I meant, 'cause I'm totally not questioning that you're classy."

He stretches and yawns before digging back into his lunch. "I kinda like being done with class for the day already, I think."
