Office Hours
The Doctor looks like he had an argument with the idea of not getting out of bed and lost.
Also, for some reason, he can't get Billy Joel out of his head today. In order to prevent him from going batshit due to the line 'You should never argue with a crazy ma-ma-ma-ma-mamma' repeating over.and.over. in his mind, he's got the Greatest Hits box set on quietly.
Unfortunately, whatever he's typing seems to keep seguing into the lyrics of the song currently playing...

He picks up a (black ballpoint, of course) pen and looks at the piece of paper, then cocks his head and looks at it from a different angle. It's been a long time since he's had to sign anything, and he's not sure what to sign it AS. Chewing on the pencap, he ponders this for a moment, and eventually, scribbles 'the Doctor' on the designated line.
Carefully, he hands the form back to Sam.

She took the form. "Thank you. Oh, and I don't know if you got any messages from me on Friday, but if you did, I'm really sorry."
It was at that moment that she remembered what Jack had told her about the messages he'd gotten. She bit her lip and tried not to blush--it really was way more information than she needed.

The Doctor pauses and looks at her curiously, as she's turning red in the face. "Are you all right, Sam? You look overheated."

"Oh, I'm fine," she cleared her throat. "And I'm glad you didn't get any of those messages--some of them were rather personal and I haven't tracked them all down yet. That's all."

sir." She smiled and walked out, closing the door behind her.
