Mac having taken Lee's advice of the day before had made herself some salad and settled at a table near the door to eat.

"Yo! New student?" Cameron greets, still bouncing over the jello.

Looking up from her lunch she grins, "That I am. I'm Mac."

"Sorry, I'm sure you've been pounced by a lot of people these last few days. I'm Cam." He grins and holds out his hand.

"Oh, I have. Doesn't mean I don't really appreciate the introductions." She takes his hand, attempting to commit the name to her memory. "Nice to meet you." She pauses "You're looking scarily happy for someone with cafeteria food."

"Hey, it's red jello. Cafeteria food or not, that is the best dessert you can get. I should probably get a glass of milk to go with it." He bounces on the balls of his feet.

Mac laughs, "I think I'll pass on the red jello, but at least I've had my first good review of the food here. You enjoy your jello and milk."

"As my grandma says, beggers can't be chosers," Cameron shrugs. "I'm broke, but don't mind if I do."

"That's true, but I've been vegan this long, wouldn't want to stop now." She smiles and nods in the direction of the canteen, "I somehow suspect that, they wouldn''t keep the animal-based products out of the food just for me, so my own food it is."

"Ah oops. Yeah, I think that might be a problem." Cameron frowns. "Wait, vegan that's no milk either, right?"

"Not strictly no. I'm afraid I'm not quite that hardcore mostly. I like to have something resembling milk in my coffee. Its a weakness." She shrugs, "I do try to stick with it in every other way though."

"Good for you," Cameron says sincerely. "I don't think I'd be able to keep up with it." He pauses for a moment, thinking it over. "So is chocolate cake out of the question too?"

"Sadly, yeah. Unless I get creative and find vegan substitutes for half the ingredients." She grins,"It has been known to happen. Eventually, a girl just wants cake, never mind the fact it tastes like flavoured cement dust."

"Now that's a bit sad," Cameron sighs. "I suppose that means I shouldn't try to bribe you."

Shrugging she replied."Its not so bad, they have subsitutes for just about anything now. I gained myself a new love of rice milk."

"On the bribe front, it would really depend on what you are bribing me with and to do what."

"Rice milk? Hmm, maybe I should try that."

He chuckles. "I usually bribe with chocolate cakes, but seeing how that's off the list I'm at a loss. Uh, you wouldn't have to do anything. Just maybe forget if anything embarrassing happens to me during the semester that you won't ever bring it up again later on."

She grins, "well, you'll find I'm fairly easily bribable with vegan products and/or coffee. Although, I'm usually willing to keep embarassing incidents to myself anyway."

"My form of your use of chocolate cake, usually revolves around being there to fix people's computer related issues. It works well as a general rule."

"I'll have to keep it in mind in case my computer breaks," Cameron grins and makes a mental note. "Okay, usually it breaks cause I did something wrong to it..."

"I know the feeling, although the rational side of me tells myself it must be my fault... sometimes I'm temted to think there are days they just have it in for me."

"I think you might be right," Cameron chuckles. "At least you know how to fix them?"

"That I do. You ever have any problems, I'm more than happy to try and help out." she shrugs uncapping her water bottle and taking a swig. "Anyway, I should probably get going. Its been really nice meeting you," she adds with a grin while replacing the bottle to her bag.
