Library, 1/09

Angela isn't sure whether she's more frightened by the fact this is her first time opening the library, by the new students, or by the Librarian.

Her stomach is a mass of butterflies as she turns on the lights and takes a place behind the checkout desk, braced for the onslaught.

"We'll need to use a really tiny font," Angela says. But even tiny, the name won't quite fit on the card. She finally issues one that says "Pippilotta V. R. S. E. D. Longstocking" and hopes it will be enough to appease the library.

"I've heard Professor Dream can turn people into cats and stuff. Which is a little creepy for me, I mean, what if you get stuck? But my friends who had him liked him," she says with a shrug. "I only have one class today too. Sociology of the Paranormal."

[OOC: Dream and Angela share a player, in case you haven't picked up on that yet. Hi.]

"I recall reading in the class description that he would not be turning the class into animals for this one, Creature Languages... Which I think is a little disappointing. Perhaps we could do it for extra credit? I don't think he would turn students into things if they could get stuck. I think it sounds like great fun."

Pippi is very excited to get her library card, she's never had one before.

"Thank you very much Angela, I can't wait to check something out. This is the most books I've ever seen together in one place ever."

"I think the problem was that last term some people did get stuck," Angela says wryly. "But half of campus was an animal for a couple weeks. Most of them got better."

"I haven't gotten to Sociology of the Paranormal yet. Should probably try to make it to class, huh?"

[OOC: He won't be turning anyone into an animal, for a couple reasons, the main one being that I think it's outside his canon powers. I inherited the character after the class in which he did it had been established, or it wouldn't have happened last semester either. Sorry, Pippi.]

"Oh! Don't let me keep you then. I need to go down to the clinic to give blood anyway. Enjoy your class!"
